Super League: Warrington Wolves, Wigan Warriors, Leigh Leopards pick up dominant wins over Huddersfield Giants, Bradford Bulls, Catalans Dragons

Warrington Wolves, Wigan Warriors and Leigh Leopards each registered comprehensive Super League victories on Saturday.

A strong opening half from Warrington proved enough to claim the two points away to Huddersfield Giants on Saturday in an eventual 34-4 victory.

First-half scores from Albert Hopoate, Toby King, Josh Smith, Sam Stone and Joe Philbin put Wire in a commanding lead at the break.

The hosts improved in the second half, limiting the Wire to few opportunities with mistakes creeping in. Adam Swift pulled a try back for the hosts.

James Bentley and Tui Lolohea both had tries ruled out under review for knock-ons during the grounding.

Matty Ashton grabbed a try in the final stages as Wire march on to next weekend's Challenge Cup semi-final against Hull KR off the back of a win.

Noah Hodkinson's hat-trick inspired Wigan Warriors to a 38-14 win over Bradford Bulls at the Brick Community Stadium.

Stand-off George Marsden made his debut and got himself involved early with a tackle that proved the catalyst for the hosts' opening try.

Wigan opened the scoring four minutes in through the diving Zach Eckersley before Jai Field crossed the whitewash in the 12th minute after collecting a pass from Adam Keighran, who added the extras.

It was 14-0 in favour of the hosts after Hodkinson crossed for his first try, and Wigan took a 20-point lead after Keighran converted Field's second of the afternoon.

Zac Fulton finally got Bradford on the board in the 33rd minute after a Video Ref review held up his try, converted by Chris Atkin, but Brad O'Neill restored the hosts' 20-point lead before the break, Keighran again adding the extras.

Neither side could make a difference to the scoreline until Hodkinson dotted down in the 53rd minute, and it was 32-6 with Keighran's conversion.

Keighran then came off for Warriors debutant Josh Cartwright, and Ethan Ryan drew Bulls closer with a 67th-minute try to make it 32-10.

Wigan were not done, however, and Hodkinson completed his hat-trick in the 75th minute, converting the third try himself, before Ryan added a consolation three minutes later.

Leigh Leopards secured an impressive 33-18 victory over Caralans Dragons in Perpignan for a third Super League victory on the spin.

Josh Charnley scored a brace on his 100th appearance for Leigh, in addition to tries from Joe Ofahengaue, Owen Trout and Frankie Halton - as well as a drop goal from Adam Cook.

Catalans struck for the lead with only 15 minutes to play as Tommy Makinson scored twice, but fell to a disappointing defeat in the end.
